Everything bad is good for you

in the reading Johnson talks about how video game is good for people the same way books are good. I agree with him because despite the violence games their are a lot of games that challenges peoples mind that make people thing harder to solve many part of the game to get to a new level. and if you break them challenges down and look at our lives we can use that same strategy that were use in the game to solve problems. some games even give people information about a event that happen like the game for Vietnam war... it gives detail and date of the war and where it takes place, so if a kid is playing that game and reading all the comment and detail they will learn about Vietnam war.

hip hop

during the reading hip hop he describe why he love hip hop and why its not just a genre to him but instead away of living. this example support the statement of " Entertainment is merely a reflection of culture because he was raise into the hip hop life, which push him to love it. just like me in Haiti soccer is the most famous sport there. at home every body love going to the field to watch the kids play soccer every after noon and for me growing up that's all my family and friend does so I learn to love it too. just because he was raise hip hop artist he understand the importance and the life behind it better than one who just watch it on TV.

I love watching Ellen but this interview was pointless. It was a bad interview because it make no sense at all

the avatar and their creation

Everybody some times want to be someone that they not and this website give them the opportunity to build an avatar that represent them in the inside. like Jason Rowe he have disabilities and in reality he cannot do a lot of thing that the other kids are able to do, so this website give him the opportunity to built Rurouni who is strong and have all the ability that Jason doesn't have. I think this website was made for the one's that tend to stays in their own little space but really in their mind they have big imaginary things that's going on there.

I read the reading High School Secret Life by Emily White and she basically talk about her observation of a high school cafeteria. After I have read her reading, it got me reminiscing about my high school days. I realize that I did have my own crew. My friends and I sat down every lunch period and talk, laugh and do other thing we couldn't do in class. I agree with the author  when she states that their were different groups of kids in the café. Was I part of the popular crowd? - I didn't know and I didn't really care.

Thinking back, was I trying to be one of them (popular)...no-  because in my high school I think my friends and I were part of a unique club, our goal was to graduate and move on to bigger and better things and accomplish our goals and dreams.

She gave the example of "mean girls' to show how the people one hang with shape one's identity. for me, I think it is true, maybe they are influential and they will act or do or even say things that the crew does.http://bsuenglish102spring2013.blogspot.com/
